My name is Jatika Manigault, and I will be serving as your District 14 Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the 2012-2013 Toastmaster year. This year, my goal will be to ensure that you and the members of your club have FUN! I will be visiting several clubs throughout the year and bringing with me a large shopping bag full of creative and exciting new ideas you can use to have a great time at your meetings. I’ll also show you how to increase the number of guests attending your meetings and how to turn those guests into members! This year, your Vice President of Public Relations will help me roll out our new club contests as well as special events taking place throughout the year; including bus outings to Orlando for the International Conference in August, and to Augusta for the District 14 Fall Conference in October.
Other events include group outings to the Atlanta Falcons training camps and a Toastmasters Day at Turner Stadium. Additionally, I will be working closely with your VPPRs through online webinar training and quarterly conference calls to help them get the word out about all the excitement going on in your club.
