Division L Governor - Janice Dirkschneider
J.D. is a voracious learner with a simple educational philosophy: ask questions, observe competent leaders, understand the policies and procedures, study the manuals, and purpose yourself to do your best. Since joining Toastmasters in May 2006, J.D. has served as President, Vice President Education, and Vice President Public Relations of the perpetually President’s Distinguished High Noon club; as a President’s Distinguished Area Governor; and as a member and Chair of several District standing and ad hoc committees. She and husband Ted live in the middle of nowhere with a haughty cat and a spoiled pooch. Both are active community volunteers. J.D. knows that, for speakers and leaders, Toastmasters is the best place to practice, fail, practice, learn, practice, grow, practice and succeed. As Governor of the newly-created Division L, her emphasis will be on education, service, and raising future leaders.
