District Senior Officers 2011-2012

Kene Iloenyosi, DTM - District Governor

Kene Iloenyosi joined Toastmasters in 2004 to improve his business communication skills. Little did he know what he was signing up for? Kene has served as club secretary, treasurer and president for his home club, Atlanta MasterCrafters Club 671. He is a past Area Governor, Division Governor, District 14 Public Relations Officer, Lt. Governor Marketing and Lt. Governor Education & Training. Kene is passionate about personal growth and has found Toastmasters to be one of the tools he and others can use to develop their communication and leadership skills. He believes that the skills you learn in Toastmasters are applicable to every facet of your life, be it personal or professional.

As Lt Governor Marketing, Kene made popular the club success formula QM=QC; Quality Meetings = Quality Clubs. This is still Kene’s formula for club success, member success and District success, and his goal as District Governor is to develop a culture of Quality Clubs in District 14. This culture will address our goals of member growth, member retention and club extension. Ralph Smedley said that “we learn best in moments of enjoyment,” and Kene adamantly believes that a Quality Club environment will help every member develop the confidence required to achieve their life goals.

Kene and his wife Lucy are residents of Johns Creek, Georgia and they own a web strategy company called NeatWorks Inc., which works with B2B companies to improve the conversion rate of their websites. Kene is a member of the Board of Directors for the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce, and loves to mentor and consult with new small business owners to help them get their business going.

Bonnie Fauntleory, DTM - Public Relations Officer

Bonnie Fauntleroy 2010-2011Bonnie Fauntleroy joined Toastmasters in 2006 and earned her Distinguished Toastmaster award after four years as a member of Speaking Solutions.

Raised to speak only when spoken to in a family of non-public speakers, her initial Toastmasters experiences were nothing short of terrifying. She gave speeches trembling and often literally sick to her stomach. But to her surprise, she persevered, finding herself in a series of leadership roles from SAA, VP Membership and President for her home club.  A servant leader, Bonnie also served as Area Governor, Select Distinguished Area 2009-2010 and Division G Governor, President Distinguished Division 2010-2011.

Along the way, she received numerous awards including 2010 District Governor’s Leadership Award and the Triple Crown Award in 2010 & 2011.  The Brooklyn, N.Y. native is perhaps best known for her ability to draw new members into the Toastmaster family and as an inspiration to others who are terrified of public speaking.

Bonnie is the proud mother of two adult children: Kristin Fauntleroy, a college student and Justin Fauntleroy, a member of the U.S. military who is currently serving in Iraq.

For Bonnie, the words of Ralph C. Smedley will always ring true: “We have found speech training to be a means, or an instrumentality by which we have made great pains- unforeseen gains – in our capacity to live and serve

Also available on the website for your convenience is an Excel copy of the District Expense Report form which is found under “District Resources”>”District Forms”>”Expense Report”.  I will continue to make every effort to ensure that your expenses are paid in a timely manner.  Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly.
